This nursery design is inspired by my daughter’s room. I love hunting for nursery decor because it’s the most whimsical, imaginative space to design.
I have tweaked a few pieces in this look from her actual bedroom since we will be using the nursery furniture we already have from our son. Fortunately, we purchased gender neutral furniture the first time around! The crib and dresser have been changed to more feminine pieces. So fitting for a little princess!
This design can grow with your child too. Simply swap the Jenny Lind crib for the bed if your little one is already in that phase. Without further ado… the shopping list for your Boho Pearl Cove Nursery / Girls Bedroom.

One of my favorite furniture pieces to have in the nursery is a daybed. I highly recommend having one if your space allows. When our son had colds as an infant, one of us would sleep in the daybed so we could keep a closer eye on him. Also, it’s a handy place to pass out without disturbing your partner in the middle of the night!
I will be reusing the same daybed in our daughter’s room. This time, I’m removing the mattress from the lower trundle and using the pullout area for storage. My grand plan is to keep all of our extra clothing/baby equipment under there so it’s all accessible. I imagine that she will have more clothing than our son did because baby girl clothing is irresistibly cute!
tufted linen daybed - $
This daybed has a timeless look and can be very comfortable as long as you buy a great quality mattress. My favorite all time mattress company is Brentwood Home. We have one in our Primary Bedroom & our nursery. The pullout trundle with slats is the perfect place to store baby equipment and clothing.
best rattan option - $$
This fully rattan daybed would add such a lovely organic touch to the nursery. This daybed will give a nice airy look to the space.
if i could pick any daybed to go with this design... $$$
I’ve been crushing hard on this daybed for years (is that normal?). This investment piece can be repurposed as an end of the bed bench or sofa after you are finished using it in your nursery.
the cherry on top of your boho pearl nursery design
This iridescent globe lamp is shatterproof, looks like a giant bubble/pearl, and has a nightlight base for a dimmer bedtime option. One of my favorite things we used in our son’s ocean themed nursery.
